Admission Requirements


Students must be undergraduates or graduates in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, and Applied Art and qualified students in other disciplines interested in Design.
Professionals are also welcome.
Good knowledge of English is required.

Deadline for Registrations

Saturday, 15 June 2024. Registrations and payments may be closed before the deadline. Only in case some positions are still available later applications will be considered.


Fees and Expenses

The total fee in Euros is 2,280.00 including:

  • Attendance to all didactical activities and materials;
  • Lodging and WiFi connection at the University of Bologna;
  • Lodging and WiFi connection at the University Residential Centre of Bertinoro, CeUB;
  • Meals at University Residential Centre of Bertinoro (CeUB) Cafeteria;
  • Entrances to museums and cultural sites;
  • A city pass for urban buses;
  • Transports in private buses for visits and transfers from Bologna to Bertinoro and back to Bologna;
  • All transports for the visits to enterprises, historical and cultural sites in private bus;
  • Insurance during all the Summer School activities.

Travel to Italy and meals during the stay in Bologna are not included.
Facilities to prepare meals are available at the residence Camplus Bononia in Bologna.



Scholarships

Some partner Universities may give a contribution to cover the fee or travel expenses to their students for their participation in the Italian Design Summer School.
